Welcome to Garnet Class

Miss Henderson is the class teacher and Mrs Bleach teaches the class on a Thursday afternoon. Miss Carlton is the teaching assistant. 

Miss Henderson

I am Garnet class teacher. I have been at Homer for a long time and have taught in lots of different age groups throughout the school. English is my favourite subject to teach, but I also really like doing lots of Art and DT lessons. When I am not at school I enjoy going to the theatre to see musicals, eating out in nice restaurants and spending time with my nephews. 

Mrs Bleach

I teach in several classes, often teaching Science, as I really enjoy finding out about things and helping you to investigate the world.  My main hobby is music – I play the piano, clarinet and flute and I enjoy singing in a choir every week.  You’ll often find me singing to myself! I’m looking forward to getting to know you all and having lots of fun.

Miss Carlton

I joined Homer when my two sons were pupils here, and I enjoyed it so much that I am still working here 20 years later! When I am not at school I spend time with friends, shopping and eating out. I am really looking forward to working and having fun together throughout the coming year.
