Welcome to Amethyst Class 

Mr Finney is the class teacher, Mrs Bleach teaches on a Monday morning and Miss Ramirez and Mrs Buckley are the teaching assistants. 

Mr Finney

I am the teacher for Amethyst class and this is going to be my eighth year at Homer. My aim is to make every day exciting and filled with opportunities to learn. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but you will see me being extremely enthusiastic (and competitive) during PE lessons. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing sports, seeing friends and family, and going for walks with my wife, daughters and our dogs. I cannot wait to see you all grow and succeed during your time in Amethyst class!

Mrs Bleach

I teach lots of classes across the school. I love teaching Science and Music and I also lead the singing assemblies. I enjoy putting on shows and performances across the school. You'll often hear me singing or humming to myself as I walk around. You might also see me in the school gardens with Homer Growers, making our outside area look good. I am looking forward to being in Amethyst this year and teaching you new things!

Mrs Buckley

I have been working at Homer for nearly twenty-four years and both of my children went to Homer and were very happy. I do a phonics and reading group every morning and really enjoy working with children and seeing their progress. I also have two Hungarian Vizslas which I enjoy walking every day.
